James & Diane Carden James & Diane Carden

Dr. Carden has over 15 years of biblical teaching and counseling experience, holds a Bachelor's degree from Andersonville Baptist Seminary and graduated Summa Cum Laude in addition to a Master’s and Doctorate in ministry from The Joshua Bible Institute. He currently serves as the Dean of the External Biblical Studies Program.

He is a graduate of Eagle Wing's Bible College, completed more than four years of study at the former New Covenant School of Ministry, served as an instructor for one year and a counselor for four years. His position required him to help and guide students by teaching them to apply the word of GOD in a practical way to the problem areas of their lives. In addition, Dr. Carden is trained in Theosphostic counseling/ministry and Prayer Ministry.

On August 8, 1999 Dr. Carden and his wife founded the Truckers Chapel Outreach in Cottondale, Alabama. The Chapel is the only free standing chapel in Alabama and is located at exit 77, Interstate 20/59 on the property of the TA Truckstop. One of the visions for the Chapel has been to raise up Christian men and women to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. To date there are Chapel representatives in numerous states and three foreign countries.

In 2002, Dr. Carden and his wife Diane founded the T.C.O. School of Biblical Studies. The TCO School currently has 200 students on three continents. For the first time in history the 13 million plus truck drivers in the United States have the opportunity to acquire a quality bible school education without losing one hour’s work. In addition to the personal enrichment the ministry opportunities include a quality ministry training and education program that will qualify a person to have a fruitful personal life and ministry either as a lay minister or as a full-time, bi-vocational minister in one of the offices of the five-fold ministry. Enrollment in the TCO School of Biblical studies is open to everyone without regard to race, sex, or vocation. International inquiries are welcome.

Dr. Carden and his wife Diane currently reside in Cottondale, Alabama. Diane is a private consultant with a job that requires regular travel through the US. They have three living children; Ron, Heath, and Michelle and four grandchildren; Kimberly, Corbin, Brooke, and Brittney that range in age from five to ten years.

Due to the demands of the bible school and current ministry obligations Dr. Carden’s availability for speaking engagements is extremely limited. However, all invitations are prayerfully considered.
